WHAT THIS INCLUDES

GETTING TO AND FROM THE BOAT

TO MAKE A BOOKING

SHARING EXPENSES:

 We like guests to help out with barging expenses in the following fashion:
  • CDN$500 per person paid in advance for a week (Monday after lunch to Sunday before lunch) and Euro €450 per person upon boarding Riverdance.

    • Down payments made in Canada include HST. Payments made in Europe are exclusive of HST.

    WHAT THIS INCLUDES:

    		 This will include:
  • Meeting by hosts at the nearest rail/bus station. (we do not pick people up by motor car)
    		•
  • Accommodation in a comfortable cabin
    		•
  • All linen and towels provided
    		•
  • Traditional French breakfast and a light lunch each day.
    		•
  • Welcome aboard dinner on the day of your arrival. For the other main meals we will stop near a café, crêperie or restaurant where you will be able to enjoy the local cuisine and the French dining experience.
    		•
  • Table wines and beer.
    		•
  • Bicycles.
    		•
  • 3 to 6 hours cruising daily.

    • This does not include:
  • Additional meals
    		•
  • Travel / Accident Insurance.(Insurance against accident and theft is a must.)

    GETTING TO AND
    FROM THE BOAT:

    		For joining and departing the Riverdance:
         We will ensure that we are located near a rail or bus terminal where we will meet you and go to the barge together. Plan on doing a little walking with your luggage; that is your incentive to really pack lightly and simply. We'll give you some hints in our FAQ page about what to bring.

         Flying to Charles de Gaulle airport is an experience in itself but generally very easy on the traveller. Fast and free Navettes (shuttle buses) take you between terminals and the train station at the airport. Visitors usually take the world famous TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) to the stop nearest to Riverdance (we will pre-arrange by telephone or email 10 days in advance of your arrival) and then take either a local train or bus to the town where we will meet you.

         Try to ensure that you take the TGV that departs from Charles de Gaulle airport otherwise you will need to travel across Paris to another Railway Station (Gare) which is complicated. If you absolutely need to do this then ensure you take an Air France Navette from your terminal to that Gare. (about €17)

  • A Canadian $1000 deposit is required to secure the visit for two people. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if a cancellation is made within 30 days of the cruise commencement date. Confirmation of your visit with us will be made after payment of the deposit.
